Amelia Earhart is best known for being the first woman to complete a trans-Atlantic flight. But few people know that she was also an Entrepreneur and Fashion Designer.

Earhart designed a line of functional clothing for women like dresses, skirts, pants, and hats. She sewed all of the initial designs herself by hand as well as modeled in their marketing materials.

She even designed a line of luggage (pictured below) that sold succesfully for over 50 years.
