C.S. Lewis on Interruptions

What I learned from C.S. Lewis about Interruptions

Welcome to Make Daily! This email contains an idea, reflection, and a simple action you can take on your work today.

Idea 💡

"The truth is, of course, that what one regards as interruptions are precisely one's life." - C. S. Lewis

Reflection 🤔

I missed Make Daily for the first time yesterday. Why? Because I got stranded flying across the country.

While sitting on the floor in a crowded LAX, I realized that being upset by the circumstances only made things worse. What if I saw this interruption as an opportunity instead of misery?

Circumstances are often out of our control. Your response to those circumstances is always your responsibility.

Action ✅

Where are you feeling inconvenienced today? Find the positive opportunity in it.
