“Clarity about what matters provides clarity about what does not.”
― Cal Newport
Reflection 🤔
Time edits down what's actually important as you grow wiser.
Only a few things matter, but they matter very much. (Share)
After turning 31, I've noticed how many things don't matter to me in the same way they did when I was 21.

I still get fooled all the time. I can play comparison games or get caught up in bad stories from childhood. It takes intentional resetting of the mind to remember what is actually worth focusing on.
Action âś…
Forget what your parents, friends, political party, or workplace say matter. What matters to you in this life?
Take action on those things and leave the rest behind.
Creator Fact 👤

Cal Newport is a respected author and professor at MIT. His most notable books are Deep Work and Digital Minimalism, but he got his start as an author in a very unconventional way... writing for students.
When he was 17, Cal realized that there were no books dedicated to helping students succeed in the same way there were for adults in business. So he wrote them, and they worked.
It doesn't matter how old you are or credentials. If you find an open opportunity and act on it, it can change your life forever.
