David Goggins on The Limits You Put On Yourself

Welcome to Make Daily! This email contains an idea, reflection, and a simple action you can take on your work today.

Idea πŸ’‘

β€œWhen you think that you are done, you're only 40% in to what your body's capable of doing. That's just the limits that we put on ourselves.” ― David Goggins

Reflection πŸ€”

Our minds are constantly seeking safety. When you are stretching beyond your comfort zone, your brain will look for any relief it can find. Left unchallenged, this will lead to a life of lukewarm stagnation.

In order to grow, you must be stretched to new limits. The truth is that you can withstand more physical discomfort, focused attention, and boredom than you believed possible.

You just have to acknowledge the limits your mind has put on you to stay comfortable.

Action βœ…

Where are you remaining in the comfort zone? Take a step outside of it today.
