Welcome to Make Daily! This email contains an idea, reflection, and a simple action you can take to improve your life today.

Idea šŸ’”

Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.

— Michelangelo

Reflection šŸ¤”

Life is like a block of stone. Time will carve it for you — but will you be proud of what emerges?

While it's true that, not all stones come in the same shapes, sizes, or condition, but they are all workable in some way or another.

It's up to you how it gets formed over time.

Action āœ…

Time is carving the statue of your life. Are you happy with what is emerging? If not, change direction.

Creator Fact šŸ‘¤

Michelangelo was an Italian sculptor and painter. He's famous for many works of art like the Sistine Chapel ceiling, The Creation of Adam, and most of all, David.

Many people don't know that David was carved from a slab of marble that has been thrown out and called "unusable" by scultors before Michelangelo stumbled across it.

There's almost certainly a lesson in there somewhere.
