What I learned from Michelangelo about Setting Goals
🎨 Michelangelo on Setting Goals

Welcome to Make Daily! This email contains an idea, reflection, and a simple action you can take on your work today.

Idea 💡

"The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark." — Michelangelo

Reflection 🤔

It's scary to set big goals. You open yourself up to more risk, dissapointment, and pain if it doesn't work out.

On the flipside, it's even scarier to live the rest of your life wondering if you could have done it afterall.

Never finding out what you're truly made of is more dissapointing than failure.

Action ✅

Where are you playing too small? Take a step this week to go a little bigger.

About the creator 👤

Michelangelo was an Italian sculptor, painter, architect and poet of the High Renaissance.
