Rumi on Acting Smaller Than You Are

What I learned from Rumi about acting smaller than I am

Welcome to Make Daily! This email contains an idea, reflection, and a simple action you can take on your work today.

In case you missed it, a new podcast released yesterday with Danny Miranda. We discuss Optimism, Visualizing your Future, and Embracing Incremental Growth. Listen here.

Idea 💡

“Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.”Rumi

Reflection 🤔

It is so easy to underestimate yourself. As life goes on, it gets easier to see ourselves as finite, small, and limited in ways that would terrify our younger self.

Youth brings so much possibility. Age brings experience, jadedness,  and a new sense of "realism."

The funny part is, most "realism" is real at all. It's never too late to do incredible things.

Action ✅

You are 'the universe in ecstatic motion'. Start acting like it.

About the creator 👤
